Based in Wolfville,Nova Scotia, the Mud Creek Boys are well known for their fresh songs, rich vocal harmonies and inventive picking. They’ve been playing together since 1997 and have performed with other valley musicians including Don Osburn, Three Point Turn and  The Hupman Brothers.  Their mutual love of oldtime, bluegrass, gospel, country and the blues has resulted in a repertoire that has been described as a journey down the back roads of North American roots music. Informal, informative, and entertaining, their adventuresome choice of songs and respect for tradition are a combination that is sure to please. The Mud Creek Boys are J.P Huang (guitar/mandolin/autoharp), Ian Spooner (banjo/guitar) and Peter Williams (bass/guitar).
